Brussels Smart City: municipalities and citizens in the digital age - 17/05/18

The Brussels Smart City programme of events is continuing until 2019. Having already tackled education, culture and the economy, our next event will look at local authorities and will be aimed at all elected municipal councillors and municipal officials.

What role does local government play in this new digital age? What role can technology play in the democratic process, in order to stimulate citizen participation? How can we use it to simplify municipal administration and management? What examples can we follow?

These are but a few of the questions that were discussed during our most recent Brussels Smart City event.

Our next event, which will take place in November 2018, will focus on digital inclusion
